Here's the uncomfortable truth about casino "review" sites: most of them are ranked ads. The casino paying the highest commission lands at number one, and the "review" is reverse-engineered to justify it. WagerX is built to make that impossible. This page explains the firewall.

We audit. We don't advertise.

A casino's score comes out of the Forensic Gauntlet — a real test with real money. Commission rates are never an input to the score, the ranking, or the verdict, full stop. We have turned down, downgraded and delisted operators who pay us, because the test said so. That's the whole point: see How We Score.

How we keep the lights on — transparently

WagerX does earn affiliate commissions when some readers sign up through our links. That funds the testing. The firewall is that the money follows the verdict, never the other way around. To keep the two visibly separate, our interface even uses different colours: standard navigation links versus clearly marked affiliate actions. The full commercial disclosure is on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Accountability after the click

Independence doesn't end at publication. If a casino we recommend mistreats a reader, our player-advocacy side steps in to mediate unpaid winnings, KYC disputes and locked accounts — and a confirmed failure can move an operator straight to the Burn Pile, commission or not. The Watchdog keeps our published verdicts honest as operators change their Terms.

Who's behind it

The lab is run by people with a public track record going back to 2018 — auditing, not selling. The founder story, the team and the credentials are on the About WagerX page; we won't repeat it here, but it's the reason any of this is credible.
