Our AI Approach

WagerX uses AI technology to enhance our audit capabilities and provide faster intelligence to players. Our AI agent, Wagie, is designed to be a helpful tool — not a replacement for human judgment.

AI Disclosure (EU AI Act, Article 50)

In compliance with the EU AI Act, we inform all users that Wagie is an artificial intelligence system. When you interact with Wagie, you are communicating with an AI — not a human. Wagie is trained on our audit database and publicly available data, and while we strive for forensic accuracy, AI-generated responses may contain errors or outdated information.

How We Use AI

  • Wagie AI Agent — Provides instant access to our audit database, trust scores, and casino intelligence through natural conversation.
  • Sentiment Analysis — We monitor social media and community channels for early warning signs about casino issues.
  • Data Processing — AI helps us process large volumes of player reports and community feedback efficiently.

What AI Does NOT Do

  • AI does not determine trust scores — those are based on our human-led audit process
  • AI does not write our reviews — all editorial content is created by our team
  • AI does not make gambling recommendations — it provides data for you to make informed decisions

Non-Reliance Disclaimer

All information provided by Wagie AI is offered "as is" without any warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Wagie's responses do not constitute:

  • Legal advice regarding gambling laws or jurisdiction compliance
  • Financial advice regarding deposits, withdrawals, or investment decisions
  • Regulatory guidance regarding licensing or compliance obligations
  • A guarantee of any casino's safety, legitimacy, or operational status

Limitation of Liability

WagerX.io and its operators shall not be held liable for any financial losses, account restrictions, legal consequences, or other damages arising from reliance on AI-generated information. Users acknowledge that:

  • Casino regulations vary by jurisdiction and change frequently
  • Trust scores and audit data reflect conditions at the time of testing and may not reflect current status
  • AI responses are generated in real-time and may occasionally contain errors
  • Users are solely responsible for verifying legality in their jurisdiction before engaging with any platform

Human Verification Required

For any critical decisions — including deposits of significant funds, legal compliance verification, or actions based on casino safety assessments — users are required to perform their own independent verification. WagerX recommends consulting qualified legal or financial professionals for jurisdiction-specific guidance.

Jurisdictional Restrictions

WagerX operates in compliance with applicable gambling laws and regulations across all jurisdictions. The following restrictions are enforced at the platform level via IP-based geo-compliance technology:

United States of America

Wagie AI is unable to provide casino recommendations, gambling advice, or platform suggestions to users physically located in the United States of America. This restriction is enforced in compliance with:

  • Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) — Prohibits offshore operators from processing gambling-related financial transactions from US-based users.
  • Federal Wire Act — Restricts the use of wire communications for interstate or international gambling transactions.

Important: Attempting to bypass jurisdictional restrictions via VPN or other means may result in immediate account freezes and confiscation of deposited funds during withdrawal KYC checks by casino operators.

Australia

In accordance with the Australian Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (IGA), all outbound links and promotional offers have been disabled for users physically located in Australia. WagerX does not hold an Australian wagering license. Users from Australia will see a full-page geo-block notice and will be unable to interact with promotional content on the site.

Italy (Italia)

In compliance with the Dutch Remote Gambling Act (Kansspelen op afstand / KOA), all promotional links to unlicensed operators have been removed for users physically located in the Netherlands. WagerX uses geo-blocking technology to ensure compliance. Users from the Netherlands will see a full-page geo-block notice.

Enforcement

All jurisdictional restrictions are enforced via three layers: (1) IP-based geo-detection with full-page blocking overlays, (2) Wagie AI text-based country detection that refuses requests mentioning blocked jurisdictions, and (3) API-level blocking that prevents chat interactions from blocked IPs. These are hard-coded compliance measures and cannot be overridden.

Other Jurisdictions

Online gambling regulations vary by country and region. Users are solely responsible for verifying the legality of online gambling in their jurisdiction before engaging with any platform listed or discussed on WagerX. We recommend consulting local legal counsel if you are unsure about the laws in your area.
