WagerX ("we", "our", "us") operates the wagerx.io website and the WagerX Casino Safety Check browser extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Website

Usage Data — We collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent on pages, and general traffic analytics. We do not require user accounts or logins to access our content.
Chat Interactions — When you use Wagie AI, your messages are processed to generate responses. We do not permanently store chat conversations or link them to personal identities.
Forum Posts — If you post in our community forum, your chosen display name and post content are stored publicly.

Browser Extension

Domain Detection — The WagerX Casino Safety Check extension reads the domain name of websites you visit to check them against our casino audit database. This check happens locally and via our API.
No Personal Data — The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, passwords, form data, or cookies.
No Tracking — We do not track your browsing activity. The extension only activates on known crypto casino domains to display safety information.

Cookies & Analytics Consent

WagerX uses two categories of cookies:

Essential cookies — required for the site to function (theme preference, session, language). These are set without consent for all visitors.

If you click Reject (or close the banner), no analytics cookies are set and no analytics scripts are loaded for you. Your choice is remembered for one year, and a "Cookie settings" link in our footer lets you change it at any time — as easily as you granted it, in line with GDPR Art. 7(3).
If you are visiting from anywhere else in the world — Google Analytics loads on first paint with IP anonymization on, in line with standard practice in your region. No banner is shown. If you would prefer that GA does not run for you, you can use any standard browser-level tracking protection (Brave, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, uBlock Origin, etc.) — we will not work around such protections.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymous, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

Third-Party Services

AI Processing — Chat messages are processed by OpenAI's API to generate Wagie responses. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Affiliate Links — Our casino links may contain affiliate tracking parameters. Clicking these links means the destination casino may set their own cookies per their privacy policies.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect any data we process. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Gambling is strictly for adults only.

Your Rights

Uninstall the browser extension at any time
Request deletion of any forum posts by contacting us
