How WagerX is building the discovery and intelligence layer for the iGaming agentic web.

What Is WagerX?

WagerX.io is an independent iGaming intelligence and verification platform.

We started in crypto-casino research, talking directly to operators, testing casinos with real money, reading their terms, following regulatory developments and documenting what actually happened.

That foundation still matters.

We don't simply collect casino listings. We look for evidence.

If a casino says withdrawals are fast, we want to know what happens in a real withdrawal. If an operator claims something in its terms, we want to understand how that works in practice. If a company makes a claim, we try to separate the claim from what we can actually observe.

We don't chase quantity. We look for quality.

We see this as an important verification layer for iGaming — and increasingly for the industry's emerging agentic web.

Today, WagerX is expanding that approach beyond traditional casino research. We are building a discovery and knowledge layer for agents, tools and machine-readable iGaming services, while continuing to use the same basic principle:

Don't just repeat what something says. Find out what you can actually verify.

The Agentic iGaming Layer

The Agentic Web is creating a new way for machines to discover and interact with companies and services.

WagerX is building infrastructure for that environment through the Agentic iGaming Directory, regulatory intelligence, Wagie, MCP, A2A and our machine-readable APIs.

We map emerging iGaming agents and services and record what we can observe about them.

That can include:

  • MCP servers and A2A agents
  • Agent-readable APIs and services
  • Protocol and capability information
  • Regulatory developments
  • Dated observations and testing
  • Evidence supplied by operators and providers
  • Independent research and verification

But we are careful about what each piece of information actually proves.

A successful MCP handshake, for example, proves that an endpoint was reachable and behaved according to the protocol at that moment. It does not automatically prove ownership, security, regulatory compliance or every claim made by the provider.

That distinction is important.

Verification, Not Just Discovery

We believe the Agentic Web will need more than directories.

Agents will need ways to understand who they are dealing with, what a service claims to do, what has actually been observed, and how recently that information was verified.

WagerX is building one part of that layer for iGaming.

Our casino research provides the real-world foundation. Our regulatory work provides context. Our technical work makes the information accessible to machines.

Wagie, MCP, A2A and the WagerX Agent Gateway are different ways of exposing that knowledge to people and other agents.

The goal is not to list everything.

The goal is to make the information that matters easier to discover, inspect and trust.

Independent by Design

Commercial relationships do not purchase directory placement, regulatory coverage, Trust Scores or positive verification outcomes.

Our research may include information supplied by operators, but we distinguish between declared information and independently observed evidence.

That principle comes from our roots in crypto-casino research and remains central to where WagerX is going.

The Agentic Web will eventually contain millions of agents and services.

We don't need to be the biggest directory.

We want to be one of the places where an agent — or a human — can find information that has been actually checked, clearly labelled and put into context.

Andreas Ericsson — Founder

Andreas has been at the forefront of the intersection between blockchain and gaming since 2018. As the founder of NewCryptoCasinos.com — one of the industry's earliest dedicated review platforms — he pioneered the term "New Crypto Casinos" at a time when the niche was virtually undocumented.

A History of Firsts

  • Metaverse Early Adopter: Andreas led one of the first-ever advertising campaigns in Decentraland, going live on Day 1 of the platform's public launch.
  • Community Veteran: A long-standing contributor to the Bitcointalk and Reddit communities, he has been tracking "provably fair" mechanics since the early days of Satoshi-era gambling.
  • Verified Authority: Andreas is a Blue Badge Verified member of the CoinMarketCap community and a long-time GPWA (Gambling Portal Webmasters Association) approved member, ensuring the highest standards of affiliate integrity.

After a peak era in 2019-2020 with NewCryptoCasinos.com, Andreas launched WagerX.io to turn practical casino research into a broader evidence-led iGaming intelligence platform. That history now supports WagerX's work on regulatory monitoring, structured data and the emerging MCP/A2A ecosystem.

Jenny — Head of Player Advocacy & Dispute Resolution

Jenny is the "Watchdog" of WagerX. Since 2018, she has been an active force alongside Andreas in our Bitcointalk threads, specializing in technical transparency and player rights.

  • The Conflict Resolver: Jenny's main role is to monitor the industry for player complaints. When a casino is published on WagerX, she holds them accountable.
  • Active Mediation: If you have an issue with a site we recommend, Jenny is the one who steps in. She uses our industry connections to resolve unpaid winnings, technical glitches, and KYC disputes directly with the operators.
  • Forum Veteran: You can find Jenny (and Andreas) active on Bitcointalk, where they have been building a record of integrity for over 6 years.

Official Channels & Community Safety

At WagerX.io, our success has unfortunately made us a target for impersonators and "copy-cat" accounts. While we view this as a testament to the strength of our brand, your safety is our absolute priority.

To ensure you are interacting with the real WagerX, please note the following:

  • Verification of Channels: We only operate through the official social media channels listed below. If you encounter an account claiming to be WagerX on a platform not listed here, it is not us.
  • Zero Direct Outreach for Funds: WagerX team members will never DM you first to ask for deposits, wallet private keys, or "exclusive investment opportunities."
  • The "Holding Tank" Scam: Be wary of fake accounts claiming they can "get you out" of a casino's holding tank or resolve a dispute for a fee. All our audit and dispute support is handled through our official site and verified channels only.

Our Stance on KYC & Privacy

At WagerX, we don't pick sides between KYC and No-KYC models. We believe there is a place for both:

  • KYC Casinos offer higher regulatory protection, legal recourse, and often higher betting limits for institutional players.
  • No-KYC Casinos offer speed, anonymity, and global accessibility for privacy-conscious players.

The WagerX Rule: We support both, but we tolerate neither if they lie. If a casino markets itself as "Anonymous" but triggers a "Withdrawal Trap" (KYC) the moment you win, they are moved to our Holding Tank. We don't judge the policy; we judge the transparency.
