What Is WagerX?

WagerX.io is an independent iGaming intelligence company building the discovery and knowledge layer for the industry's agentic web. We map MCP servers, A2A agents and agent-readable services, track regulatory developments and record what our research has actually observed. Our aim is to make emerging iGaming technology easier to discover, inspect and understand without confusing a provider's declaration with independent evidence.

WagerX began in crypto-casino research. That experience remains part of the evidence base, but casino affiliate coverage is no longer the limit of the company. The main product direction is the Agentic iGaming Directory, regulatory intelligence and the machine-readable knowledge served through Wagie, MCP and A2A.

How We Work — The Technical Side

  • Agentic iGaming Directory: We organize MCP servers, A2A agents and agent-readable APIs into canonical service profiles with protocols, capabilities, access models, evidence states and dated observations.
  • Protocol Inspection: Where an endpoint is public and suitable for checking, we inspect protocol metadata and advertised tools or skills. A successful handshake proves reachability and protocol behavior at that moment—not ownership, security, compliance or every provider claim.
  • Regulatory Intelligence: We track source-linked enforcement actions, licence changes and jurisdictional developments through our regulatory portal. This is research, not legal advice.
  • Wagie: Our research agent retrieves structured WagerX knowledge for people and other agents. Wagie distinguishes declared information from editorial research and observed evidence, and returns explicit limitations.
  • MCP, A2A and APIs: The WagerX Agent Gateway provides documented, read-only machine access with signed structured responses.
  • Selective Casino Evidence: Real-money tests, terms analysis and community reports remain part of the foundation. They ground selected records but are no longer the company's main expansion strategy.

The result is one developing knowledge layer for the website, Wagie and machine interfaces. Commercial relationships do not purchase directory placement, regulatory coverage, Trust Scores or positive verification outcomes.

Andreas Ericsson — Founder

Andreas has been at the forefront of the intersection between blockchain and gaming since 2018. As the founder of NewCryptoCasinos.com — one of the industry's earliest dedicated review platforms — he pioneered the term "New Crypto Casinos" at a time when the niche was virtually undocumented.

A History of Firsts

  • Metaverse Early Adopter: Andreas led one of the first-ever advertising campaigns in Decentraland, going live on Day 1 of the platform's public launch.
  • Community Veteran: A long-standing contributor to the Bitcointalk and Reddit communities, he has been tracking "provably fair" mechanics since the early days of Satoshi-era gambling.
  • Verified Authority: Andreas is a Blue Badge Verified member of the CoinMarketCap community and a long-time GPWA (Gambling Portal Webmasters Association) approved member, ensuring the highest standards of affiliate integrity.

After a peak era in 2019-2020 with NewCryptoCasinos.com, Andreas launched WagerX.io to turn practical casino research into a broader evidence-led iGaming intelligence platform. That history now supports WagerX's work on regulatory monitoring, structured data and the emerging MCP/A2A ecosystem.

Jenny — Head of Player Advocacy & Dispute Resolution

Jenny is the "Watchdog" of WagerX. Since 2018, she has been an active force alongside Andreas in our Bitcointalk threads, specializing in technical transparency and player rights.

  • The Conflict Resolver: Jenny's main role is to monitor the industry for player complaints. When a casino is published on WagerX, she holds them accountable.
  • Active Mediation: If you have an issue with a site we recommend, Jenny is the one who steps in. She uses our industry connections to resolve unpaid winnings, technical glitches, and KYC disputes directly with the operators.
  • Forum Veteran: You can find Jenny (and Andreas) active on Bitcointalk, where they have been building a record of integrity for over 6 years.

At WagerX.io, our success has unfortunately made us a target for impersonators and "copy-cat" accounts. While we view this as a testament to the strength of our brand, your safety is our absolute priority.

To ensure you are interacting with the real WagerX, please note the following:

  • Verification of Channels: We only operate through the official social media channels listed below. If you encounter an account claiming to be WagerX on a platform not listed here, it is not us.
  • Zero Direct Outreach for Funds: WagerX team members will never DM you first to ask for deposits, wallet private keys, or "exclusive investment opportunities."
  • The "Holding Tank" Scam: Be wary of fake accounts claiming they can "get you out" of a casino's holding tank or resolve a dispute for a fee. All our audit and dispute support is handled through our official site and verified channels only.

Our Stance on KYC & Privacy

At WagerX, we don't pick sides between KYC and No-KYC models. We believe there is a place for both:

  • KYC Casinos offer higher regulatory protection, legal recourse, and often higher betting limits for institutional players.
  • No-KYC Casinos offer speed, anonymity, and global accessibility for privacy-conscious players.

The WagerX Rule: We support both, but we tolerate neither if they lie. If a casino markets itself as "Anonymous" but triggers a "Withdrawal Trap" (KYC) the moment you win, they are moved to our Holding Tank. We don't judge the policy; we judge the transparency.
