Mincetur, in coordination with Sunat, issued provisions to clarify and facilitate the application of the 'direct transport' requirement in Peru's trade agreements. The measures allow evidence such as letters from international carriers or freight forwarders to demonstrate no unauthorized storage or operations in third countries, improving predictability for foreign trade operators. The provisions also permit such letters to justify transit through third countries for geographic or transport-related reasons.
