CFTC Issues a Request for Information to Facilitate Innovation and Competition for Fintech Firms

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued a Request for Information to identify CFTC regulations, guidance, orders, no-action letters, and other items that may impede fintech firms from partnering with federally regulated institutions and to identify items that could be amended to streamline application processes. The request supports compliance with Executive Order 14405 and invites public comments for 21 days after Federal Register publication, to be submitted via Regulations.gov or other specified methods.
