UKGC sanction: Leisure Electronics Limited

Following a review of the operating licence of Leisure Electronics Limited (“the Licensee”), the Commission found that the Licensee: failed to comply with Social Responsibility Code Provision 3.5.5 (Remote Multi-Operator SR code), which states: “Licensees must participate in the national multi-operator self-exclusion scheme.” The failure to comply with a SRCP is a breach of a licence condition by virtue of section 82(1) of the Gambling Act 2005 (“the Act”) In line with the Commission’s Licensing, compliance and enforcement policy statement and the Indicative sanction guidance, the Commission has decided to impose a formal warning under section 117 (1)(a) of the Act. The Licensee co-operated with the Commission throughout the investigation and took steps to address the identified failings.
