Two Individuals Sentenced in Illegal Gambling Case Tied to Flint's "The Vault"

Two Georgia residents, James Stiles and Laura Stiles, pled guilty to maintaining a gambling house and were sentenced on July 13, 2026 in Genesee County to one year probation, jail credit (nine and five days respectively), and ordered to pay fines, fees, and costs. The sentences follow joint investigations by the Michigan Department of Attorney General and the Michigan Gaming Control Board into illegal gaming at 3301 Corunna Road in Flint (operating as The Cellular Vault/The Vault and later reported as The Flint Arcade), where authorities seized 43 computers and $2,572.48 in proceeds during an August 18, 2022 search.
